A magical and meaningful exploration of the ancient techniques from Afro ancestral gold panning. Hosted by Ana Sierra, founder of MODAELAN, she is a pioneer for sustainable practices in jewelry; in alliance with jewelry designer and founder of The Nomad Jeweler, Jessica Hudson. This trip allowed participants to have a unique experience of co-creating their own pieces in alluvial eco-gold or recycled silver, and be immersed in a full week of on site work sessions collaborating directly with master afro goldsmiths who carry century old traditions and techniques.
